Overview

Taught out of our Brunswick studio, this is a 56 hour workshop (including a 1h lunch break) that runs from 10am-3pm.

In this workshop you'll come with a laptop and some files and leave with an A5 zine that you've made yourself.

We'll start by looking at what a zine is and the type of zine we'll make, before doing some editing work and getting started in InDesign or Xara. By lunch you'll have a print ready file.

After lunch we'll print your zine in studio and then fold and sew it into a finished A5 zine. You'll then trim it and document it before the day ends.

Open to everyone - no experience required. The workshop is designed for anyone and everyone -  all you need is art work (photos, writing, poetry, illustrations, whatever) in digital format, a laptop and either InDesign or Xara programs installed on your laptop.

Unfortunately, we do not have spare laptops to share.

Limited to 8 places, so that there's plenty of one-on-one time.

All paper, printing and binding provided.
